Armadale

Armadale is a residential suburb in the state of Western Australia. Situated close to the country's western border, the community is located some 28 kilometres south-east of Perth, the state capital. Its estimated population of 12,019 residents over a land area of eight square kilometres accounts for its density.

Armadale, which serves as an urban centre and transport hub for its surrounding districts, is part of the Local Government Area of the City of Armadale. The community is represented by the State Districts of Armadale and Darling Range in the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, as well as the Federal Division of Canning in the Australian House of Representatives. Its neighbouring suburbs are Bedfordale, Brookdale, Kelmscott, Mount Nasura, Mount Richon, and Seville Grove.

Armadale has its share of nice attractions and locales, thanks to its heritage, that draw people to the area. The community hosts regular local events such as Concerts in the Park (various dates), The Minnawarra Festival (April), Heritage Country Mini Tourism Expo (May), The Kelmscott Show (October), Armadale Highland Gathering (November), and Carols by Candle Light (December). One can easily find relaxing spots within the suburb thanks to its open spaces, such as the Araluen Botanic Park, Cohunu Koala Park, Memorial Park, Raeburn Orchards, and Roleystone Orchards.
